A very good question Peggy and I'm so sorry you seem to have been struck by the same unexplained peculiarity that hit poor Bev several weeks ago when she had a few of her posts suddenly moderated for no reason. After lengthy investigations, her case still has no explanation. I can only put hers and now your moderation down again to the foibles and limitations of the Forum's formatting. I've just been into the Admin Controls and have clicked on the 'approve' prompt, so your posts are now up.
One possible explanation for your posts being moderated, is perhaps there is a default to moderate if the auto-censor picks up a word that's not in the 'accepted' list? In your case in both of your posts, your totally rational information that D-i-c-k Van D-y-k-e was the actor in the film of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, may have triggered the auto-censor when you typed his name without spaces between the letters. Even though the asterisks were substituted into those words which are so completely innocuous and inoffensive to the sensibilities of we members, maybe they defaulted to moderation to 'protect' us all? 
I must say, that in the old Forum, we moderators had access to the list of words on the censored list and we could remove any that we thought were inoffensive, but like many of the simple accesses that we used to have on the previous Forum model, this is one that isn't available to us on this site unfortunately. Sincere apologies that you have been unfairly maligned by this and please let us know if it happens again.
